As Italy enters a new Golden Age of ocean sailing, Futura goes beyond sport. It’s a bold initiative that combines the spirit of adventure with a strong commitment to the environment—using sailing as a platform to amplify messages of research, responsibility, and social impact.

At the helm is Luca Rosetti, Bologna-born and one of the top sailors of his generation. Winner of the 2024 Sailor of the Year, Luca triumphed in the Mini Transat 2023, becoming only the second Italian to do so in 47 years. His dedication to sustainability and innovation makes him the ideal ambassador for Maccaferri Futura.
