For this purpose, EBS Mac (multi-cell elements made from welded mesh panels connected by spirals) were used in large numbers. Each cell is lined on the inside with a geotextile retention envelope. The elements are aligned lengthwise, using Galmac-coated metal connecting bars to achieve the desired structural length. Defencell Mac is filled in situ with materials available on-site, ensuring rapid installation. 

The wires used comply with NF EN10223-7 for tensile strength, NF EN10218-2 for wire tolerances, and NF EN10244-2 for Galmac coating (quantity and adhesion).
